If you have open or unsettled bets when you activate a self-exclusion, what will happen to them depends on the specifics of the bet itself.
Futures Bets
All futures bets will be voided/refunded to your BET99 cash balance no matter what. If you then wish to withdraw those funds, see our article about withdrawing while self-excluded more fore information.
Bets Placed Before a League Commences
If a bet is placed before the beginning of a league's start date, the bet will be voided/refunded if the self-exclusion is activated before the beginning of the league. For example, if you place a bet on the NHL before the NHL officially begins, and activate your self-exclusion before the league begins, your wager will be refunded in full. If you then wish to withdraw those funds, see our article about withdrawing while self-excluded more fore information.
If the self-exclusion is activated after the beginning of the league, the bet will stand and will be settled accordingly after the end of the event(s) in question.
Bets Placed After a League Commences
If a bet is placed after the beginning of a league's start date, it will not be refunded in the case of a self-exclusion unless the correct settlement is a push or BET99 decides to void the bet for reasons laid out in our Sports Betting Rules.
