What You Need to Know
- Played with 6–8 decks.
- Three main bets: Player, Banker, Tie.
- Cards are dealt in order: Player, Banker, Player, Banker.
- If either side totals 8 or 9 (a Natural), no more cards are drawn.
- Only the last digit of the total matters (14 = 4).
- Player and Banker may get a third card, but the rules are fixed.
- Standard payouts: Player 1:1, Banker 0.95:1, Tie 8:1 (varies).
- Exception (No Commission Baccarat): Banker wins 1:1 except on 6, payout 0.5.
- Common extras: Player/Banker Pair and other side bets.
How It Works
- Card values: A = 1, 2–9 = face value, 10/J/Q/K = 0.
- Player draws on 0–5, stands on 6–7; 8–9 stops everything.
- Banker draws using a strict chart that depends on the Player’s third card.
- Exception: Banker draws a third card on a 0–5 total when the Player’s first two cards total 6 or 7, even though the Player does not draw a third card.
- Higher single-digit total wins.
- Side bets pay based on the first two cards only.
