American odds or "moneyline" odds, are a type of sports betting odds.
Favourites: Shown by a minus symbol (-). The figure indicates the amount of money you must wager in order to win $100. Underdogs: Shown by a plus (+) symbol. The figure indicates the amount you will earn if you wager $100.
For instance, if a market has odds of -150, you would have to wager $150 to profit $100. If a market has odds of +200, a $100 wager would profit $200 in payouts.
