As an account holder, you may need to confirm your identity by submitting a valid and non-expired government-issued identity document, proof of address document, and selfie.
We accept the following non-expired, government-issued identity documents:

- Provincial ID Card (excluding Health Cards)
- Passport
- Permanent Resident Card
If you choose to upload an identity document without an address listed (e.g., Passport or Permanent Resident Card), you will be required to upload a proof of address document such as a bank statement or utility bill.
How to Verify your Account through the Desktop:

- Click “Verify Now” on the red banner.

- If you are not yet verified, you will see a 'Verify Now' button on the home page banner. Click on the button to initiate KYC verification. You may be prompted to submit ID and a selfie.
- To ensure the best chance of passing the document verification check, follow these pointers:
- Use the "Auto-Capture" feature as it provides real-time feedback on photo quality and validity. This feature will automatically snap a photo of your ID once the quality is good enough to run the check.
- Place your ID on a flat surface. Do not hold your ID card with your fingers. This will ensure all four corners are visible and captured in the photo area.
- Ensure the background is black, white, or a different colour than your ID card. This will ensure the best contrast which may aid in the electronic scan of your ID card.
- Take the photo from a bird-eye view and ensure the text is clearly visible and readable. Please ensure there is no blur, glare, shadows, or obstructions.
